Meet Brooke Rose – Your Partner in Holistic Wellness

Hi, I’m Brooke Rose, founder of Rose Holistic Health. I’m a licensed Physician Assistant with a background in functional and integrative medicine, and I’m passionate about helping people uncover the root causes of their health challenges so they can live with more energy, balance, and vitality.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of patients in both clinical and wellness settings, from children with developmental and behavioral concerns to adults struggling with chronic health issues. During this, I realized that many of the issues my patients faced—fatigue, digestive struggles, focus and behavioral problems, mood disturbances, hormone imbalances, —weren’t just symptoms to manage, but signals of underlying imbalances. In my role as a traditional PA-C in the office, I realized I was becoming part of the problem of current modern medicine that “churns and burns” patients, prescribing medication like candy, with no time for education or to dig deeper into why my patients might be experiencing any of these symptoms.

This inspired me to dive deeper into holistic health and functional medicine. Through my training in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) and my experience as a PA, I combine science-backed testing with practical, personalized lifestyle strategies to create programs that really work.

I specialize in holistic programs for families with children on the autism spectrum as well as general adult wellness programs, integrating functional lab testing, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle education. My approach is personalized, evidence-based, and actionable, so you can make real changes without feeling overwhelmed.

Why Autism

During my time working as a conventional PA-C in outpatient psychiatry, for years I treated children diagnosed with, or suspected to have, autism every day. Most were being managed primarily with stimulants, antipsychotics, and other mind altering medications, often leaving them fatigued, emotionally flat, or “zombified.” Or sometimes they just flat out didn’t work. Parents would often ask me, “Is there anything else we can try besides therapy and medication?”—and for a long time, I didn’t have the answers.

While I do recognize that some medications can be life changing for particular children and families in controlling behavior, sleep and functioning in school/society, moreover, the common theme I’ve seen is that they don’t address the underlying root causes that impact a child’s health and development. I started digging into research, exploring nutrition, gut health, sleep, environmental toxins, and lifestyle factors—and I discovered that these areas can dramatically influence behavior, mood, and overall well-being in children with autism.

That’s why I created Rose Holistic Health’s autism-focused program. By combining functional lab testing, personalized nutrition, lifestyle interventions, and practical strategies for families, I help parents tackle root causes, reduce symptoms, and support their child’s health in a meaningful, sustainable way. My goal is to empower families with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make real changes—so children can thrive and parents feel supported and hopeful.
